ChuktiQ is a digital agreement management platform that allows individuals and businesses to create, manage, and track legal agreements — including house rental agreements, shop rental agreements, business & financial agreements, and any custom contracts. By using ChuktiQ, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. Please read it carefully.

We collect information you provide directly to us when you:

• Create an account (name, email address, phone number)
• Create or manage agreements — including party details, property or business information, and payment records
• Use the Any Contract feature to create custom agreements with your own defined terms and parties
• Communicate through our platform (messages, notifications)
• Subscribe to a paid plan (payment information processed via secure third-party gateways)

Regarding NID (National ID) information: When you add party details to an agreement, you may optionally include NID numbers. This information is stored solely for the purpose of displaying it on the agreement document. We do not use NID data for identity verification, background checks, or any purpose other than agreement showcase.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the ChuktiQ platform
• Generate and manage digital agreement documents on your behalf
• Process transactions and send related information (receipts, confirmations)
• Send SMS and email notifications as configured in your agreements
• Respond to your comments, questions, and customer support requests
• Comply with legal obligations under applicable Bangladeshi law

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

• Service Providers: Third-party vendors who assist in operating our platform (e.g., SMS gateways, payment processors) under strict confidentiality agreements.
• Legal Requirements: When required by law, regulation, or valid governmental request.
• Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred to the successor entity.

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Agreement data is retained to ensure you always have access to your documents.

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time via the Settings page. Upon deletion, your personal profile data will be removed. Certain agreement records may be retained as required by applicable Bangladeshi law for legal compliance purposes, even after account deletion.

• Encrypted storage for sensitive information at rest
• Regular security audits and vulnerability assessments
